Midyear Outlook 2023: The Path Towards Stability
LPL Research's Outlook 2023 started with a theme of returning to normalcy. Considering 2022's market volatility and the aftereffects of the pandemic, the idea of finding balance was certainly a welcome change. That's not to say 2023 hasn't come with its own set of challenges. We saw three regional bank failures and had to hold our breath as a last-minute deal to raise the debt ceiling came together. Counterbalancing the challenges, some bright spots include inflation under 5% domestically. LPL Research's Midyear Outlook 2023 aims to provide guidance for the second half of the year.
